Really the only trick here is where he jumps over the guy's leg - that's what got him out of the hold. From there he just has to pull with his right arm and push the guy's shoulder to the ground with his left; the foot between the legs help launch him off the ground and off balance.
shows bad technique and would surely cause an injury. It's all brute force and strength, which isn't what Judo or Jiu-Jitsu teaches. The better solution would have been to go to the ground and start a counter/attack from there. This would be useless on the street.
