actually, it's just the helicopter falling because of engine failure. it's playing in reverse.

no when a helicopter falls the blades still rotate, its called autorotating, its a manoveure used by helicopter pileots to reduce damage on impact in the event of engine failure

its a wierd illusion that cameras pick up while recording. don't really know how it works but i've done it and cameras just can't pick up the movement so it looks like they aren't moving at all.

The camera is set to take a frame every time the blades do a rotation.
