its an AC130
Martin on Feb 24th, 2010, 9:04 PM
AC-130, mean aircraft. Also this isn't shopped, they actually do that, check YouTube, and ModernWarfare 2 when a AC-130 is called in.
U Know Who on May 9th, 2010, 1:07 PM
Shut Up Kids. You all comment about MW2. Mw2 is not real life or anything like it and MW2 doesn't even have many modern guns or real aircraft used by the military at all.. Those are flares to stop incoming missiles with locks.

*Sigh* I work on these things
voice of reason on Jun 8th, 2010, 7:47 AM
why are people such idiots. It is blatantly obvious that we have the technology to do this considering we can speed particles up to over 90% of the speed of light. You can see that is isn't fake by the path of the flares. and That Guy I know how you feel, this sort of debate really makes me loose what little faith I have left in humanity

Wow, how ironic... An angel... like many american soldiers look to in times of need. A guardian angel.
Dinner on Jul 16th, 2010, 11:25 AM
It is not an AC-130. It is a C-130. BIG difference.
.... on Aug 20th, 2010, 10:00 AM
To set things straight, MW2 is NOT real life. no video game will be able to match real life. Those planes are C-130 Hercules transport planes, not AC-130 gunships. The bright things being launched out of the sides/bottom are flares, heat seeking missile countermeasures. They work by being hotter than the plane's engines that heat seeking missiles lock on to, and usually cause them to redirect and hit one of the flares instead. BTW I'm with you That Guy....I used to work on F-16s..and the internet is just disappointment.

could be on Jan 14th, 2011, 11:52 PM
hard to tell, unless you got a clearer version of this, then as far as i can tell it's a C-130 transport plane, cause i cant see any weaponry on the starboard side of either one
Possible on Mar 6th, 2011, 3:55 PM
While in flight to a destination I don't think the weaponry would be deployed. It would create unnecessary drag and slow down the craft if it has a bunch of unwieldy bits sticking out.
Angel on Mar 17th, 2011, 1:55 AM
Check out the smoke trails that it leaves in the back ground...
i guess that's why it's called an Angel
