It's from a Hong Kong movie called "Shaolin Soccer." It came out in 2001 if I remember correctly. The movie is about (yep, you guessed it) Shaolin monks who play soccer with their superhuman skills.

kind of fail to kick with unbent leg. both as fighting kick or soccer kick, you have to bend from knee and use that for extra force, so the leg is straight at the end of the kick.
